Day 01

Nairobi - Masa mara

Pick up from Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning. Drive to Masai Mara a 5 hour drive to the main gate, via The Great African Rift Valley escarpment and the famous Masai Town, Narok. Check in at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Masai Village visit you pay extra $20 Per person and Mara Balloon excursion is $420

Day 02

Masai Mara Full Day

Early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast. Later with packed lunch Full day in the park. The Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season happens early July and October, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large crocodiles.

Day 03

Masai Mara - Amboseli

We’ll have an early breakfast before heading out to Amboseli. The drive is long today. Amboseli National Park which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive with a short game drive proceeding to your lodge check inn and have lunch. Later afternoon more game drive, Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo can be seen at the swamp area.

Day 04

Full Day Amboseli National park

Early morning pre-breakfast and head for fullday game drive at 6.30am to 5pm, when you have the best chance to see the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. Start the day off viewing the animals as they first awaken and come into the clearings, seeking their first meal of the day. Amboseli is also a wonderful park for viewing large game like lion, cheetah, hyena, impala and giraffe. The park is not big so there’s a good chance we’ll have some wonderful game viewing. Lunch then more game drive.

Day 05

Amboseli - Mombasa

Early breakfast then have our last game drive being the final day on safari so let’s celebrate with an ultimate game through Amboseli’s scenic horizons. Later drive off to Emali train station for your trip to the coast. On the way you’ll be traveling through the Tsavo West and Tsavo East Parks so you’ll have more opportunities to view those reserves and possibly some wildlife. At the train station, your driver/guide will assist you with tickets and transfer to the Madaraka Express, the new high-speed train to Mombasa and the coast.
