Day 01

Nairobi Kenya

Picked up from the airport and get into it as soon as you touch down in Nairobi, with your first night at Nairobi Tented Camp, one of the first accommodations ever built in Nairobi National Park, the camp is deep in riverine forest and is surrounded by wildlife, the tents are your first taste of traditional safari life, comfortable and en-suite romantically lit in the evenings. Wake up early in the morning with a game drive and a hearty breakfast. Later transfer to Wilson Airport.

Day 02 & 03

Nairobi - Amboseli Selenkay

Transfer to wilson airport and fly south-east to Amboseli National Park, follow the herds of elephants towards Mt. Kilimanjaro, the largest free-standing mountain in the world. Activities within Porini Camp Selenkay includes, day and night game drives in open sided 4x4s with high quality guides, a day in Amboseli National Park, escorted bush walks, visits to a traditional Masai village and sundowners with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 04 & 05

Amboseli - Samburu

From the land of elephants we fly to Samburu National Reserve, with Elephant Bedroom your next destination. The camp is set on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, under the welcome shade of green riverine forest. Elephants, monkeys and antelope visit in camp; shyer animals are spotted on game drives or guided walks. Learn more about their tribal folklore and lifestyle with a village visit on day five.

Day 06 & 08

Samburu - Maasai Mara

After our breakfast we fly to Maasai Mara and our last stop will be Tipilikwani Mara Camp on the banks of the Talek River. Mara is the home of vast herds of plains game, followed always by hungry predators. And for you, delicious food, campfires by night and stargazing to end off perfect days. With a local Masaai as your guide, take a game drive or walk. They know where the animals go. On a night drive, discover some of the secret stories of the reserve.

Day 05

Maasai Mara - Nairobi

Wake with our last day in the camp, a filling breakfast, a last game drive, a village visit to learn more about Masaai culture and life. Richer for your experiences and with many stories to tell, take a lingering look out from your deck or some quiet moments of reflection on your African safari, and then it is time to say farewell, drive to Nairobi and transfer to the airport, end of safari.
