Tour Overview

Day 01

Nairobi - Masai Mara

Picked from the Airport or your hotel early in the morning, tour briefing then off to Masai Mara passing through the highly agricultural highlands of the eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, have a stopover at view point, descend the escarpment to Narok town for lunch then proceed to Masai Mara. Check in, short break to refresh, then proceed for evening game drive till dark.

Day 02

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

Pre breakfast game drive 0630hrs to 0900hrs. Return to camp for late breakfast and leave your camp and proceed to L. Nakuru for our afternoon game drive, with an option of boat ride at Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake to see Hippos and many birds, but this can be done the following day while heading to Amboseli. We shall carry our picnic luch while leaving Masai Mara, later drive to Nakuru town.

Day 03

Lake Nakuru - Amboseli

Depart L.Nakuru after breakfast and briefly past via Naivasha for an optional boat ride, later proceed to Amboseli. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals not forgetting Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak providing a beautiful back drop. Arriving mid-Day and freshen up, followed by lunch and a short rest. Later game drive till late.

Day 04

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast we depart to our full day game drive in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drive (optional visits to Masai village). All meal and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day 05

Amboseli - Lake Manyara

After breakfast depart from the Lodge to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. The park is famous for tree climbing lions and the flamingos in the lake shore and numerous wild animals. The game drives are done along the shore of the lake, providing incredible views of animals in the foreground with the lake, flamingos and flat plains in the horizon.

Day 06

Lake Manyara - Serengeti

After breakfast you will drive to Serengeti National Park. It’s a world heritage site, the 7th wolrd wonder and the oldest national park. Its well known for its annual wildebeests of more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle that migrate in the months of May, June, July, October, November and December. After arrival you will go for a walking safari.

Day 07

Serengeti National Park

Early morning after breakfast we head out for game drive, spend the rest of the morning hours till lunch time in Serengeti National Park, later return to the camp for lunch and in the evening you can relax at the leisure.

Day 08

Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Enjoy one more morning game driving in the Serengeti and then make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater after lunch. All your meals and overnight stay will be at Karatu Simba Lodge. There are several documented resident lion prides within a one-hour drive from the Seronera River Valley. During the dry season, the prides begin to shift west and north in their territories and concentrate in the central region of the park.

Day 09

Ngorongoro - Arusha

After breakfast, we will descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, descending down the crater, you will enjoy amazing panoramic view and if you are lucky, you will see the Big five. The caldera is exhibiting more than 120 species of mammals. We will see pools full of hippos, the endangered East Africa’s last black rhinos including birds such as secretary bird, white stork arriving from Europe during the wet season, kori bustards, crowned cranes and ostriches. It is for sure a landscape of sheer beauty. Leave for Arusha flight to Zanzibar or Naribo.
